Savour afternoon tea sandwiches, home-made scones and showstopping artisan pastries inspired by Executive Pastry Chef, Thibault Marchand’s love for summer and rose gardens. Fan chairs dressed as floral thrones will sit alongside clusters of comfortable seating in this breezy, light-filled central space.
Winner of Channel Four’s Bake Off: The Professionals 2019, Thibault’s tea-time showpieces include a French choux crafted into the shape of a delicate flower and a bright red rose gateau that pair beautifully with a glass of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé. Complete the afternoon tea experience with an alfresco cocktail on Palm Court’s very own summer terrace – Bloomsbury’s ultimate ‘hidden’ outdoor space.
The Rose Garden afternoon tea is served Friday to Sunday from 12 noon to 4.30pm.
